EarthLink ($21.95 per month and up) provides plenty of advice for avoiding spam, and its Spaminator service, which is also based on Brightmail, scans incoming mail for spam and redirects it to a spam storage area. This area, which has a clunky interface, can be accessed only through the EarthLink Web site, a fact that is not publicized well enough. Your conventional mail client doesn't interact with Spaminator at all, and there's no training involved. You can "redirect" the message from Spaminator to your regular account (in which case its headers are unfortunately changed) or delete it from spam storage. More like Brightmail's performance in our corporate story, Spaminator found 67 spam messages with not a single false positive.
