Once identified, these infected PCs can be cleansed by Simplicita’s ZBX zombie remediation system. Because of a partnership between the two companies also announced on Monday, when Cloudmark’s Authority software is deployed in conjunction with Simplicita’s product, ZBX can leverage information culled by Authority about zombie activity to quickly quarantine suspicious PCs and send them to remediation Web sites.

Cloudmark’s antizombie service for ISPs is slated for availability in the first quarter of next year. Pricing has not yet been announced. The company says OEMs of its Authority software that sell to enterprises will be able to offer their customers the anti-zombie service as well.
