Secure Computing competes with Web security vendors including Symantec, F-Secure and McAfee.

The software is available for the Windows, Linux and Solaris operating systems. Pricing depends on the number of users, length of license and functions chosen. For example, the full suite would cost about $164,000 for one year, for a 5,000-employee organization and $262,000 for one year, for a 10,000-employee organization.

The software also comes preconfigured with three new appliance options: Webwasher WW500 costs $3,000 and supports as many as 4,000 users, Webwasher WW1100 costs $7,000 and supports as many as 8,000 users, and Webwasher WW1900 costs $14,000 and supports as many as 16,000 users.
