Hendrickson Software Components has announced the release of Purify, a program that lets you filter, trace and report unsolicited commercial e-mail (spam). It costs $29.95.
Purify supports Bayesian filtering, and lets you filter e-mail by country of origin. You can filter, accept or ignore e-mail
based on phrases you've defined, accept e-mail from "friends" lists, forward valid e-mail to other accounts or your iPhone,
filter image spam, report spammers and phishers to their ISPs, work with POP, POP/SSL, IMAP and IMAP/SSL accounts, add AppleScripts
to extend its functionality, and work in standalone or workgroup mode.
