Purify lets you filter, trace, report spam

Hendrickson Software Components has announced the release of Purify, a program that lets you filter, trace and report unsolicited commercial e-mail (spam). It costs $29.95.

Purify supports Bayesian filtering, and lets you filter e-mail by country of origin. You can filter, accept or ignore e-mail based on phrases you've defined, accept e-mail from "friends" lists, forward valid e-mail to other accounts or your iPhone, filter image spam, report spammers and phishers to their ISPs, work with POP, POP/SSL, IMAP and IMAP/SSL accounts, add AppleScripts to extend its functionality, and work in standalone or workgroup mode.

The Mac version of Purify is a Universal binary that's been tested with Mac OS X v10.5 "Leopard." It's also available for Windows and Linux. The company doesn't offer specific details on system requirements.
